Ugh. I have a sinus infection with a lovely sinus headache. and ANOTHER blocked duct on the same poor boobie. Poor boobie. Ouch. And I've got spots (zits) on my face. Oh joy. I am having a bad time of it lately.
I'm a self-taught knitter and photographer who loves staring at patterns and starting projects. Not always the best at finishing... Also mummy to M-3.5yrs, J-almost 2, and two kittens, as well as chauffer, housekeeper, and sometimes cook... I'm an ex-pat American, happily married to an Englishman, with no plans to head back to the states except for the odd holiday.

Yuky sinus infections are the worst and blocked ducts as well - poor you. Take care of yourself and keep up the good work with that sock - you'll get through it - perhaps you could earmark someone to give them to - then you might enjoy the process a bit more.
thanks becky. M and Maddie have left for the inlaws today whilst Jamie and I relax... more time for the sock! And I figure I'll give them to my MIL as she gave me the wool. She said how much she loved the colors. Actually what she said was if I didn't like the wool then give it back and she'd make a pair for herself. I figure I need the experience more than she does!
Hope you feel better soon. And if the socks aren't ready until December, well, at least it's the right time of year! I response to the hay fever comment, my eyes are driving me crazy. My sister and I have been really whingeing about it this morning.....But luckily it only affects my eyes. Could be worse. Could have spots, sinus infection and sore boobs. And a scary m.i.l. Yikes.
